The Stedelijk Museum Bureau is a laboratorium and information center devoted to contemporary art in Amsterdam, though not in a manner associated with museums. It is a lively presentation space which is a spawning ground for new ideas; its current program being to annually organize eight to ten solo and group exhibitions. It also provides a space for lectures, discussions and other activities.
This well designed publication has been made to celebrate the first ten years of the Bureau's existence. It reproduces all of the bulletins which the Bureau has produced for each of the shows which it has held since it's conception in 1992 being thereby a catalogue of some of the most inspired and challenging artistic energy currently in Amsterdam and the Netherlands.
