Forty-six emerging and renowned artists and scientists from around the world were invited by the Pars Foundation to submit their 'thought-notations' on Ice. This fascinating and very well designed book is the first in a series by the Pars Foundation which will constitute an atlas of creative thinking at the beginning of the 21st century. The series will act as a visual and textual guide through the ideas and visions of those artists and scientists who shape the way we look at the world today.
The Pars foundation believes that arts and sciences are essentially creative processes and the world is both a playground and a field of research and that artists and scientists alike require vision, application and above all, curiosity, passion and intuition. Pars wants to capture what takes place in the artist's studio, out in the research field and in the laboratory.
